Suicide drills are one of the greatest basketball exercises for endurance, stamina and speed. Suicide basketball drills simulate the events and actions that occur in a game of basketball with countless changes of directional sprints.
To perform the suicide basketball drill, begin by starting on the baseline, facing the other end of the court. Sprint to the free throw line, bend down and touch it, and then sprint back to your starting point.
When you get back to the starting point, bend down and touch the line then sprint to the half-court line, bend down and touch it, and sprint back to your starting point. Upon reaching your starting point, bend down and touch the line then sprint to the opposite free throw line, touch it, and sprint back.
When you reach your starting position, touch the line and then sprint to the opposite baseline at the end of the court, touch it, and sprint back. Make this last sprint count and cross the baseline at full speed.
