In this drill, you want to start off on one side of the basket. You should be standing approximately halfway to the free throw line. Begin by bouncing the ball off the backboard and leap up the the ball, grabbing the basketball as quickly and powerfully as possible. When you land, it is important to hit the floor with strength and balance. Turn to make an pretend pass to your offensive teammate.
You should perform this basketball drill ten times from each side of the basket.
